Swati Kanher Honored with Aspiring Women Award 2024 by Kshitij Foundation
Buldhana, Maharashtra (2024):
Chairman of Vasundhara Nagari Sahakari Patasanstha, Mrs. Swati Kanher, has been honored with the prestigious Aspiring Women Award 2024 by Kshitij Foundation, Washim, recognizing her outstanding contribution to women’s empowerment, education, and social development in Maharashtra.
The ceremony, supported by Tirupati Constructions and Sales, Solapur, celebrated women who have created meaningful impact through perseverance, compassion, and leadership. Swati Kanher received the award in the Entrepreneur category for her long-standing efforts toward advancing economic and social opportunities for women in Buldhana and nearby regions.
Recognition of Leadership and Service
The citation, originally written in Marathi, drew inspiration from Maharashtra’s great reformers such as Savitribai Phule and Jijau, honoring women who challenge norms and create space for others to rise. It highlighted that true success lies not in personal achievement but in bringing light to others’ lives — a message reflected in Swati Kanher’s lifelong work.
Through Vasundhara Nagari Sahakari Patasanstha, she has enabled easy access to finance for women entrepreneurs, farmers, and small businesses. Her initiatives have supported women’s self-reliance while promoting education, sustainability, and cultural preservation across rural Maharashtra.
Commitment to Empowerment and Knowledge
Speaking on the honor, Swati Kanher said,
“This award is a recognition of every woman who has worked silently to bring change. Empowerment begins when we create ease and opportunity for others.”
The Kshitij Foundation lauded her not only for her economic leadership but also for her humanitarian vision — a commitment to spreading education, dispelling ignorance, and nurturing progress rooted in compassion and knowledge.
Swati Kanher’s recognition with the Aspiring Women Award 2024 stands as a proud moment for Buldhana, symbolizing how dedication and empathy can create lasting social change.
